2. Slow it down, hear me out!
I’ve got my speakers on in a room where my friends are planning an adventure, and the songs spin off in a shuffle. Do all the songs strike a chord? I’d be lying if I said “Yes.”
Not my fault if I added a favorite song of someone else to my list. Usually, we are too faded to notice that when it’s blowing up the speakers in the car, but having it play in the background while doing something else is another drug altogether.
11-30 pm would be a great time to hit the sack and snuggle into a warm comforter, and yet here we are. I am writing this, and you are reading this. Flaws or none at all, you’re here, nevertheless. All you need is me playing on a playlist and you’d know that rush of feelings. Hit that song up, let it remind you of something that is important or a moment you’re in at the current. And if you’re sure you want to walk down “memory lane”, be sure not to let it pull you down. It’s good to feel an emotion deeper that you’ve ever known as long as you can also understand and manage them. When you can balance the intensity with insight and control, these powerful feelings can be incredibly enriching and help you grow, rather than leaving you feeling lost or overwhelmed.
P.S – I ended this listening to the song “Slow it down – Benson Boone”
